Thank you for visiting our site. Here, at East Ridge Siberian Huskies, our mission is to not only better the Siberian Husky as a breed, doing DNA and Health testing on our Siberian Huskies to ensure they are healthy and fit for breeding, but we also want to ensure that our puppies are strong, healthy and go to good fur-ever homes. We also aim to educate and support our “husky family” so we can reduce the number of dogs that are, abandon, surrendered to and killed at shelters every year. We believe that if the decision to bring a husky home is paired with education and a support system that it is not a decision that will ever be regretted.

Our Siberian Huskies are a huge part of our family! They not only share our home with us, eating and sleeping with us, but also are a part of our little adventures also. They are rarely left home without us. They love to help me wake our kids in the morning with lots of kisses, loving their hugs and to cuddle. But they also love and are eager to learn and are currently learning the commands during our walks to one day be great sled dogs. Learn more about our huskies on our Meet our Pack page.

Our puppies are raised in our home with myself, my husband, our children, around other animals such as our rabbit and chickens and are exposed to being handled since birth. They will have their dewclaws removed, receive early neurological stimulation starting at 3 days old, be dewormed every two weeks, and they will receive their 1st series of vaccinations, have their health checked(CVI) and be micro-chipped by our Veterinarian at 8 weeks old. They will also have started potty, leash, crate & basic training before going with their new families to their new fur-ever homes. But just because they leave our home after 10 weeks old, that doesn't mean we are not still apart of their lives. We will remain in contact with their new families and be the support system our puppies and their new families need.

A lot of time, money and love are poured into all of our puppies to ensure a smooth transition into their new homes and a strong, healthy start to a long happy life. See below for more details.

What to expect when you purchase one of our puppies.

As a small kennel, we currently only have one breeding pair. And because of this, most of our puppies have approved families to go home too before they are even born!

All interested buyers will be required to complete our Puppy Application. Once we have reviewed your application, we will contact you. If approved, you can then be added to our waiting list. Once the puppies are born, to hold one of our puppies until they are old enough and socially ready enough to go home with you, a $200 nonrefundable Puppy Deposit and sign our Puppy Deposit Agreement contract is required.

If you have any questions, please email me! You will then be invited to join our closed Facebook group,
East Ridge Siberian Huskies and Family, and you will begin to receive frequent updates such as pictures and videos as your puppy grows until that exciting day your puppy is old enough to go home with you!
Below are some more details on what we will do to ensure your puppy is strong and healthy as well as what you will receive the day you take your puppy home with you!

Our litters are CKC Registered
By registering our litters, it not only helps us keep track of our litter/puppies, but also gives you the option to register you puppy with the Continental Kennel Club, whether you purchase your puppy with Limited Rights or Full Rights. Registering your puppy is a great way to show Proof of Ownership for your Siberian Husky, but also gives you access to exclusive discounts, advice and events through CKC.
Our Puppies are Micro-chipped
When we take our puppies to our veterinarian at 8 weeks old for their Health Check and 1st series of Vaccinations, we will also micro-chipped our puppies. The day our you pick up your puppy, we will register your puppies microchip with your information as the main contact and us as a secondary contact. The cost to register your puppy's microchip is included in the purchase price for our puppies and there is no additional cost to the Buyer. This way none of our puppies leave our property without having some form of identification on them.
Rear Dewclaw Removal
Dew claws on your puppies rear paws can easily get caught on things, and could easily rip off, which can be very painful for the puppy/dog and there is no need for a rear dew claw. This is why, if our puppies are born with rear dew claws, we will have them removed as puppies. We use to have the front dew claws removed to prevent future pain for our puppies and expenses for their families, but after more research and discussing it with our veterinarian, it is more beneficial for them to keep their front dew claws then remove them. Our puppies families will need to just keep them trimmed back like the rest of their nails.
BioSensor Therapy
We dedicate the time to use BioSensor Therapy on our puppies starting at 3 days of age.
Developed by the U.S. Military Canine Program, the BioSensor Program improves the development of the puppy's neurological systems by early stimulation and stress, resulting in the following benefits for the life of the dog.

Stronger Heart Rate
Stronger Heart Beat
Stronger Adrenal Glands
More Tolerance to Stress
Greater Lifetime Resistance to Disease
The BioSensor Approach, sometimes referred to as the "Super Dog" Program is based on years of solid research.
In the 1970's The United States military learned that early neurological stimulation exercises on puppies could have important and lasting effects. The program was developed to improve the performance of dogs that were used in the military. While, their program did not include Huskies, their studies confirmed that there are specific time periods early in life when neurological stimulation has optimum results.

Deworming & Puppy's First Vet Visit

Deworming
Our puppies mother will be dewormed around 40 days into her pregnancy. This will not only protect her, but also her unborn puppies from roundworms and tapeworms pregnant dogs can get during pregnancy. After birth, our puppies will be dewormed when they are, 2, 4, 6, & 8 weeks old with Pyrantel. At 10 weeks old the puppies will be started on Heartgard.

Puppies First Vet Visit

When our puppies are 8 weeks old, we will be taking them to our Veterinarian for their 1st series of vaccinations and implant the microchips for each of our puppies. We will return to our Veterinarian to do a CVI (Certification of Veterinary Inspection) at 10 weeks old. You will receive a copy of your puppy's deworming & vaccinations records as well as a copy of the CVI in your Puppy Folder.

72 Hour Health Guarantee

East Ridge Siberian Huskies, guarantees that Your Puppy to be free from infectious diseases for 72 hours after the puppy leaves our premises. We will guarantee you with a puppy that leaves East Ridge Siberian Huskies in clean, good general health and that has no known physical defects. Your puppy will be dewormed, received first immunizations and will have had a Certification of Veterinary Inspection completed and detailed in writing.

If your veterinarian finds the puppy to be in poor health, and the veterinarian’s written description of the problems is provided, and dated within 72 hours of the date you received your puppy, you can then return your puppy for a full refund. Failure to have the puppy examined by a vet within 72 hours of the date you picked up your puppy and/or you fail to provide required immunizations, treatment or de-worming’s, will mean that this health guarantee has been voided.

"No questions asked" Return Policy

We want nothing more than what's best for our puppies and the last thing we want is to learn that one of our puppies was either abandon, sold to a bad home or surrendered to a shelter because you could no longer care for them, regardless of your situation. We want to make sure, no matter what the age of your puppy is, that they are placed in another good home if in the event you can no longer care for them.

So we have in place a return policy in our Buyer/Seller Contract that states that if at any time you feel you are no longer able to keep/care for your puppy, no matter what age it is, that you must first contact us, East Ridge Siberian Huskies, so that we can either take back your Siberian Husky and/or rehome your Siberian Husky for you, and by signing our contract when you pick up your puppy, you are agreeing to these terms. Under no circumstances are you to sell or drop off one of our puppies at a shelter/rescue. This is so we can personally see to it that they are placed in a good home, putting potential new owners through the same steps you had to go through to purchase one of our puppies, such as completing our Puppy Application and signing a contract.

Our Siberian Husky & Puppy
Let's stay in touch

We love our puppies! And when they leave us to go to their new families and homes, we want to keep in touch with the families because those puppies were a part of our family too! We have a closed Facebook group,
East Ridge Siberian Huskies and Family, just for our puppies new families. A private group where you can not only share your love for your new puppy, but one of several ways you can contact us if you ever have any questions or concerns about your puppy. We have also created a Members Only page on here for our families who don't have Facebook, ERSH Family Members.

Socially Ready

Here at East Ridge Siberian Huskies, we believe it is important that our puppies stay with their mother as long as possible, keeping our puppies together with their siblings and parents until they are 10 weeks old. Their mother will teach them manners we can't, correct their bad behaviors and teach them to respect other dogs/their siblings. Also, their social development happens in play with their siblings during those last 2-3 weeks they are with us. And by staying with their parents and siblings longer, our puppies will be less likely to develop aggression, develop separation anxiety and have less behavioral issues. Just because they are eating on their own, doesn't mean they are ready to leave their mother just yet.

Puppy Food

When our puppies are introduced to puppy food, they will be fed Merrick Grain Free Real Chicken & Sweet Potato Puppy Recipe. This natural, grain free formula dog food, with their first 5 ingredients being Deboned Chicken with DHA for healthy brain development, Chicken Meal, Potatoes, Peas and Sweet Potatoes, is an ideal recipe for our puppies, providing them with naturally nutrient rich ingredients to support their overall health and development. This recipe is balanced with 55% protein and healthy fat ingredients and 45% fresh produce and vitamins and minerals.

Our puppies families will be provided with a 4 lb bag of this puppy food to take home with them. If you decide you want to feed your puppy something else, you will need the puppy food we send home with you to slowly transition your puppy over to your choice of food over a 7 days period. Otherwise you puppy will end up with an upset tummy and even diarrhea. Making their transition into their new home off to a rough start for them.

Eye and Coat Colors

Here at East Ridge Siberian Huskies, we do not and can not guarantee our puppies eye or coat colors. We can not guarantee that your puppies eyes will remain blue, or if they will keep their mask, because these things can change as they grow into adult Siberian Huskies. We can give our opinion what their colors may be, but we can not guarantee it. And what color our puppies eyes and coats are is not our focus here at East Ridge Siberian Huskies, but breeding and raising strong, healthy, sound puppies that have already begun their training before they leave us is.

Does that mean you shouldn't share with us what colors you hope for? No, of course not. If you hope for a Grey and White puppy with Blue eyes or even a Diluted Black and White puppy with brown or parti-colored eyes, please feel free to let us know when you complete your application. But know, that we can not guarantee that our next litter of puppies will have those colors. But what we can guarantee is our puppies will be strong, healthy, sound and have begun their training before they leave us here at East Ridge Siberian Huskies. That, is our main priority and focus here at East Ridge Siberian Huskies.
